Good condition, even if the borders are trimmed and some contents are lost in the lower part of the fragment. There is still the original sewing thread in the central fold. Regarding the contents: the two pages are not consecutive.
The original foliation is lost, but a later hand added "cvj" and "cix" respectively at the top of Ar and Br.

Very simple decoration: only plain initials in red; display script in red, text and notation in black. Aquitanian neums on dry-point line.
Inscriptions and marks:
Bv left vertical side: "Pardez"; Bv right internal lower angle: "M". Ar: a modern hand wrote by pen and blue ink "Caixa 279, n° 5"; Ar at the top of the page a modern hand wrote "[...]130"; immediately at right there is another inscription in red ink "108"; Ar right vertical side "Pardes [...]".
P. Avelino de Jesus da Costa referes to this fragment as: "Caixa 279 132 – Número 5 – Tombo de Santa Maria de Paredes, 1540".
