Central bifolium slightly damaged. Part of the contents are lost in the lower part of the fragment. The folds suggest that the fragment was used as book cover. There are many irregular cuts and tears along the borders. The damp patches and the wrinkles of the parchment make the reading difficult. A rectangle of parchment was used to patch a tear on c. 132r. On the rectangle of parchment are clearly visible some neumes.
There is the original foliation in roman numbers on c. 132 "cxxxii". The folio number is missing on the previous page of the bifolium, but since the contents of the two pages are consecutive, we can assume that the page number was .
Size of the bifolium: 310 x 225 mm. Text area: one column of 295 x 155 mm. 30 – 31 text lines, many with music.

Type of notation:
Very simple decoration: only plain initials in red or black; display script in red; text and Aquitanian notation in black, neums on dry-point line.

There are two inscriptions at the top of r, one is modern (at the left angle) and written by pen in blue ink "Caixa 249 n° 14", the other is more ancient, in Portuguese and almost unreadeable. In the middle of the page, another ancient hand wrote "Tombo de Igreia de São Tiago". At the top of 132v, right angle, is written in red ink the shelf-mark number "52".
P. Avelino de Jesus da Costa referes to this fragment as: "Caixa 249, 77 – Número 14 – Tombo de São Tiago de Cerdedo, 1549".
