Formerly cover of the Tombo da Comenda do Salvador de Vila Pouca de Aguiar (of 1560). The fragment is formed by two leaves from two manuscripts of dfferent origin stitched to each other. One of them is a fragment of an antiphoner (leaf A). It is severely mutilated and mended with parchment. The fragment that comes from a Missal (leaf B) is faded in some places. However, the leaf B shows clearly a red line for musical notation, the red line for musical notation is scarcely visible on leaf A.
