The contents of this fragment have been compared with the chants in the early 16th century Temporal Antiphoner Braga, Arquivo da Sé, Ms. 32 (available in PEM) and with the texts for the chants in the Breviary without music from Braga ('Breviarium Braccarense') printed by João Gherlinc for Pedro de Barzena in 1492. The description of the Braga Breviary can be read at http://catalogo.bnportugal.pt/ipac20/ipac.jsp?profile=bn&source=~!bnp&vi.... The full color reproduction of the Braga Breviary can be downloaded at http://purl.pt/22000. Both sources are representative of the Braga liturgical use and their contents (chants and readings) match with the contents of fragment P-BRam Nº 008 Códices.

Foliation/Pagination:
The original foliation can be read only at the top of fol. Av: CXXIII.
Page layout:
Two columns. Medium-size neumes placed around a red line.
Condition of document:
This non-central bifolium is nowadays in poor condition because it was used as book cover for long time. The borders are irregularly trimmed with loss of contents along the external edge of fol. B. There is a big hole at the bottom of fol. A and other medium size holes along the central vertical fold. The bottom and top margin remained folded for long time (see the horizontal crease). The external cover (Bv-Ar) is in poorer conditions with the ink vanished on many points and traces of dirtiness.
Inscriptions:

Later-hand inscriptions almost vanished on Bv (mainly along the two columns) and at the top left corner of fol. Ar.
