Pen-flourished "e" on the recto, plain initials in red and blue. Text in black, display script in red.

Inscriptions
Later hand inscriptions on both the recto and verso: "(...) eu tenho recebido" can be read on the recto, at the right bottom corner. Unreadable inscription at the bottom left corner of the same page. Other inscriptions can be found at the left top corner of the verso (unreadable) and bottom right corner ("... defu... 1572 a 1613 ..." and "208", the latter in red ink by a modern hand).

Condition of document

One folio fragment used as book cover. The verso was the external cover and it is badly deteriorated. Wrinkles all over the fragment, damp stains and dirtiness mainly on the verso, horizontal fold in the middle of the page, part of the contents are unreadable.

Page layout

ca 24 lines per page, mainly with music.
