Front flyleaf recto has the names of five brothers of the monastery and the date 1662. First recto (by main scribe): ‘Da livr(ari)a do Noviciado de S(an)ta Cruz de Coimbra'.

New covers of light brown tooled leather (dating from time when manuscript was re-bound between 1937 and 1941)
Folios missing between fol. 042 and fol. 043; fol. 198 and fol. 199. Parts of manuscript severely trimmed, leading to partial or complete loss of inscriptions. Further trimming occurred when the manuscript was rebound in modern times
