Scribe D. The piece is almost certainly a chorus for a Jesuit neo-Latin play. The first sentence in the text is most likely an adaptation from Ovid, Fasti, book 2, 357-58. Since the standard for these choruses seems to have been a four-voice texture, three parts are missing.
