A series of four Alleluias for Trinity Sunday that as of April '22 is only found elsewhere in very few sources and all almost exclusive to the Iberian peninsula. See connections to the Cantus Database of each Alleluia for further information.
Tall chant initials in red and blue with filigree of contrasting colour.
Ar: 16th - 17th c. inscription, upside down at the bottom: '1576'. Another hardly legible inscription contemporary to the previous one on the same page, with the same date. Modern inscription: «Évora, nº 124 (Notarial)»
Br: doc. 35
Overall fair. Two small holes on the top of fol. A accounting for minor content loss (about one line of text and a few neumes). Fol. B heavily trimmed on the outer side, accounting for about 40% overall content loss. Exposed side (fols. Av - Br) ink slighlty faded and some dirtiness; Non exposed side (fols. Ar - Bv) otherwise fair.
One column of text and music
Original foliation number on top of fol. Av (sic), almost completely trimmed but likely to be 'CXXXXII'; original foliation number on top of fol. Bv (sic) virtually impossible to decipher.
