The liturgical content of this fragment is uncertain. The only rubrics read "Feria VI canticum abbacuch prophete" (presenting chapter 3 of Habacuc prophecy) and "Sabbato in canticum Moysis"; there is no chant under these two feasts. The only chants are antiphons generally found in "per annuum". Especifically they are found in comparable sources in "feria V per annuum" and "feria VI per annuum".
Red line for notation, medium/large-sized neumes with clear indication of the lower note of the semitone. The lozenged punctum is used both in isolation and as part of compound neumes. In some cases a letter is used next to the red line to indicate the pitch.
Red initials with filigree for the beginning of the text with no music. Simpler initials for the verses. Brown ink for the beginning of the chants, with simple initials. Rubrics in red.
Inscriptions only on the Av-Br side (except for some small embellishments made with the same ink used for the text). On the top side a modern inscription reads number "38" in red. On the bottom side, written upside-down, 2 other modern inscriptions: one reads "Caixa 227 nº6" in blue pen; the other one, in brown ink, reads "M...onibo...?"
The bifolium is in very good condition. Two spots on Ar and Av. Entirely readable. Prick holes on both vertical edges. Presents no mutilation.
Each folium presents a single column with 24 lines. The music and the related text stay on two different lines.
