P-BRad Pasta 037
Aquitanian notation on a red line. The scribe shows precise control of intervallic relationships. No custos used.
Capitals in red and blue. Initials of the readings larger, in red.
In left margin of Bv, by later hand: “San Pantaleão de Cornes,” a parish near Vila Nova de Cerveira, formerly in the archdiocese of Braga.
Generally well preserved. Lower edge trimmed, affecting text. Folio Av–Br was once pasted to a binding, as Bv bears modern (16th-cent.) annotations. No significant folds or holes. Small brown stain at lower margin, not affecting legibility.
Two columns of 34 lines; originally more, lower portion lost through trimming. All margins trimmed.
Mode identification takes into account the position of the tonic relative to the dry-point line, psalmodic intonations, melodic range and formulas.
