Small filigree and alternated blue or yellow decorations for the first letter of each chant.
Inscriptions
Verso: three inscriptions. At upper right, modern “261” in red pencil; at lower right, a largely illegible inscription in brown ink, possibly marginalia or a later addition; in centre, modern brown-ink inscription: “Livro nº1 L de (…)cov?dans da camara de (…) de 1644.” A printed label reads: “CONVENTOS MOSTEIROS a? –138 A.D.B./U.M.”

Condition of document
Good. The folio was partially folded when reused as a book cover; the verso likely formed the outer side, showing surface wear and small stains. A minor tear causes no loss of text.
