P-BRad (Braga) Arquivo Distrital Pasta 214
P-BRad Pasta 214
Part of Christmas Vespers and the beginning of St. Stephen's Office.
Square notation (Iberian variety) on 5 red lines. One clef, custodes (head left-oriented, stem downwards).
One red initial detected, very simple and with no filigree. Rubrics in red.
Two inscriptions on the verso side. One modern in red pencil reads "214"; the other one, in black ink, reads: "Cavaloens / Bap[tiza]dos de 1622 té 1660 / Caz[amentos]de 1624 te 1667 / Defuntos de 1600 ...". This fragment was therefore used as a cover for parish records of Cavalões, Vila Nova de Famalicão.
Good. The folio has been slightly folded to fit the size of the paper records. The external part of the cover (verso side) is quite dirty but the contents are still readable.
Single column. 6 lines of music alternated with 6 lines of text.
No foliation/pagination.
The layout and the text script remind the fragment P-BRad Pasta 213.
