Description of the notation
Aquitanian notation of Portuguese variety. The strongly oblique ascending inclination of the neumes makes it rather hard to differentiate a square note from a tilted one.

Taller initials in red and blue ink with red filigree.

Inscriptions
Bottom margin of recto side, pencilled in a modern hand: 'Évora, n. 68 / (Notarial)'; upright on the bottom-right corner in ink: 'doc. 27'. Top-right corner of the verso side, pencilled: '68'.

Overall fair. One tear in the upper region accounting for about one line of text and music missing.
Exposed recto side in fair condition, with minor ink fade (although music is quite less readable than text).
Non-exposed verso side in good condition with all contents still readable.

Numbering, possibly original, on the top of recto side: 'cli'.
