Red line for notation, medium/small-sized neumes. The scribe put special care in placing the neumes in the notational space. Small custodes, right-oriented. Presence of many liquescences.
Red and dark brown initials with simple filigree for the beginning of the chants. Brown initials show the filigree in red ink. Simpler initials for the verses in brown ink with small filigree inr ed. Rubrics in red.
Inscriptions only on Br. Modern hand inscriptions on the top right: in red "117" and in pen "Caixa 257 nº5" probably written by the same hand. Two older inscription on the bottom side of the page upside down in brown ink read "Tombo de S.ta M de S.ta (...)" and "Esta registrado no (...) dos (...)".
Good. No content loss. It was used as a cover, the borders of the fragment were folded to fit the size of the book being covered. It shows spots and dirtiness due to book handling. Prick holes on the left vertical edge of Ar/Av.
Partially notated fragment with 2 columns, each with 31 lines of text or musical notation. The notated parts show alternate lines of text and musical notation. The lines used for musical notation match the textual lines in size.

In the Breviary of Soeiro (Braga), after Matins and Lauds commemorating the Invention of the Cross, the commemoration of the Martyrs follows with the antiphon Ego sum vitis, which fits the contents of this fragment.
