P-BRad Pasta 142
This is a single folio fragment. Both sides contain chants for the feast "In dedicatione ecclesiae".
Red line for notation, medium-sized neumes. Presence of special signs such as "virga cornuta" and liquescences. Clivis and climacus always show the last note as a squared punctum, while the upper notes (the first one for the clivis) are rhombus-shaped, without carrying any melodic feature. Custodes, left-oriented.
Red and blue simple initials for the beginning of the textual parts. Brown ink initials for the chants, with simple filigree. Rubrics in red.
Recto: one modern inscription in red pencil reading "142".
Verso:
Two inscriptions. The most modern one, in blue pen, in the mid-top part of the folio reads "Caixa 290 nº8"; the other one, in brown ink, starting "Livro do (...)" is not easy to read.
Fair. The folio was used as a cover and it has been cut and folded to fit the size of the book, leading to some content loss. Dirtiness on the verso side, two spots on both sides.
Two columns with 33 lines each of text and music.
This is a single folio fragment without foliation/pagination.
