Blue and red alternated initials for chants. Rubrics in red.
On the recto side a modern "262" in red pencil upside down on the bottom left corner of the fragment. Another inscription in brown ink reads: "L[ivr]º de Eleições (...) do Juiz / e m... Off[icia]es do Mosteiro de / fiaens de 1631". Two other inscriptions are not readable. A white library sticker reads "CONVENTO[S] / MOSTEIRO[S] CI - 13 A.D.B./U.[M.]. The Cistercian monastery of Fiães (Melgaço) was extinguished in 1834 and its documentation ended up in the Arquivo Distrital de Braga.
Poor condition. The folio is damaged and the fragment represents only a small part of the original page size. Nonetheless the remaining content is readable, except for some notes and text on the recto side due to some dirtiness and spots. The fragment was used as a book cover and it was folded in multiple parts. The external part was the recto side.
It is impossible to say due to the poor condition of the fragment. Proabably a single column of music and text. Only three lines of music with the relate text are visible.
A roman number CL can be seen on the top right corner of the recto.
