Part of the Introit with its verse and the Gradual verse of a feast probably in the week after Easter, based on the comparison with other sources from Portugal.
Square notation with oblique pes on 5 red lines, one clef, custodes.
Only one black ink decorated initial of the Vespasian type for the beginning of a verse is detected. Rubrics in red.
On the internal side of the book cover there is one modern inscription that reads "A 4-1-145" and it has been cancelled.
On the external side there are 3 library stickers with a blue frame, that read respectively from the left to the right: "1169 / A 4-1-145"", "9" and "Nº 272". There are also other inscriptions in brown ink, some of them are unreadable or just numerical jottings. On the top right one inscription apparently reads "1638 / Perolanear os mandados dos gobtos da camara destede 639 (...)" (?). Another one, just below this first one reads "Afonso (...) / e aqui está a s[enten]ça contra a camara". In the bottom right part there is another inscription: "louvado seia o santissimo sacramento amen / 638 domingos (...)". The records enclosed relate to the years 1638 and 1639.
Good. The fragment is completely readable although the original folio has been cut to fit the size of the records enclosed, leading to some content loss. There are some spots and dirtiness on the external side of the book cover.
A single column of text with its music. It is impossible to guess the total number of lines.
