Description of the notation

Square notation on 5 red lines, featuring two forms of pes and scandicus (standard and oblique). One clef, left-headed custodes (stem upwards).

Decoration

Part of a big red decorated initial with blue filigree. Another smaller similar initial. Rubrics in red and brown ink.

Inscriptions

On the external side of the cover multiple inscriptions in brown ink are detected, one of them with the date 1612. There is also a piece of paper sewn with additional inscriptions, starting: "Comesou em mayo de 1612 / e acabou em s[e]t[emb]rº de 1612."

Slightly damaged. The bifolio has been cut and teared to fit the size of the book that covers. A fair amount of content is lost. The external part of the cover is dirty and sometimes not readable.
