P-G (Guimarães) Arquivo Municipal Alfredo Pimenta N 217
P-G N 217
A series of Vespers' antiphons. The rubric reads "Feria Vi ad magnificat antiphonas". Probably for Tempus Quadragesimae.
Square notation on 5 red lines, with oblique pes and V-shaped porrectus. One clef, left-headed custodes (stem upwards).
One blue initial with red filigree (faded) is detected. There is also a part of a simpler, black initial. Rubrics in red.
On the verso side one modern inscription reads "B-22-1-3". There is also the Arquivo Municipal Pimenta's stamp. The verso side, upper part, is completely filled with a minute handwritten text. The recto side shows several inscriptions, e.g. "1618", most of them unreadable. A library sticker records number 2513.
Damaged. The folio has been cut and folded to fit the size of the book that it covers. The recto side is almost unreadable due to the spots, dirtiness and humidity.
Single column, undetermined total number of lines.
On the top-right corner of the recto a roman number is still visible, although hard to see. It reads "LXXVII".
