c. 285 x c. 400 mm. Text layout: two columns. Each column measures ca 100 x 225 mm. 33 wl.
Condition of document: 
Single leaf fragment slightly damaged: the top was trimmed with partial loss of contents. Damp patches on the verso. Creases can be seen at the external corners of the recto. Pricking holes visible on the left border of the recto. A long horizontal fold demonstrated that the fragment remained folded for long time.
Decoration: 
Red and blue initials, some with filigree designs; rubrics in red. Notation on red line with custos.
Inscriptions: 

Four later hand inscriptions were written along the vertical internal border of the verso. The two more modern inscriptions read: "4" (in red ink) and "Caixa 243 N. 9" (in blue ink). Two more inscriptions provide info on the provenance of the fragment: "Santa Marinha de Moreira" and "Tombo da[...] de fondo Marinha de Moreira de Geraz de Lima". The parrish of Santa Marinha de Moreira de Geraz de Lima already existed in 1258 and it is located ca 50 km northwest of Braga.

Remarks: 

P. Avelino de Jesus da Costa referes to this fragment as: "Caixa 243, 38 – Número 9 – Tombo de Santa Marinha de Geraz do Lima, 1541".
