Document type:
13th century
Type of script:
Recto: Ploremus coram domino. Verso: Ecce odor filii. Catchword on the verso.
Page layout:
Full page column. 24 text lines with notation.
Condition of document:
Damaged fragment currently used as book cover. Mutilated, holes and traces of humidity. Almost illegible along the book spine. Library stickers. Used to cover a register book (1617 to 1619).
Red and brown plain initials.
Description of the notation:

Big size neumes. Dry-point line. The axis of the notation is vertical. The difference between a lozenge and a square punctum is clearly defined. Lozenge is used consistently to mark the lower semitone and it is used either in isolation as in compound neumes. No custodes.
