This is a cantus partbook from an original set of presumably five. None of the other partbooks have yet been located. Both sides of the front flyleaf have a 'tabula' arranged alphabetically by incipit. Some of the motet texts and feasts observed are particularly connected with devotions at the monastery of Santa Cruz in Coimbra, or in Portugal (cf Rees 1995, pp. 302-3). Fols. 91v-95v copied by a different scribe.
