Folio Ar has several, quite imperceptible inscriptions, possible references to the book bound by the fragment and several numerical calculations (a few of these also on folio Av), suggesting that the bound book was a registry of income and expenditure.

Presently binding a registry book from the Notary of Paredes (Porto).
