Notes
Both this copy and that in P-Cug MM 32 include a 2-voice version of the verse 'Suscepit Israel'. A copy of the 4-voice version of this Vs copied from the print was appended to this setting by another scribe.The 2-voice Vs setting derives from an earlier Magnificat in the 1st tone by Morales found in E-V 5 and two more Spanish manuscripts (see Kreitner, 2007); it is also intabulated in Miguel de Fuenllana's Orphénica lyra (Seville 1554)
