Mainly chants for the feast "Fer. 4 Maj. Hebd." on folios Ar, Av and Br. 2 chants for the feast "Fer. 5 in Cena Dom." on Bv.
Medium-sized neumes, with slightly irregular shape, on a red line without clef. No custodes. The notator often added 2 small lines between the neumes in order to separate graphically the notes belonging to different words. Sometimes the height of the notes is irregular and it is not always easy to identify the pitch of one note.
Red and blue alternated initials with simple decoration for chants at the beginning of a liturgical hour. Simpler initials in brown with red decoration for the other chants. Rubrics in red.
Ar: on the upper side of the folio, a modern "146" in red pencil; another inscription in brown ink reads "Crestelo São Tiago Valença", referring to the Abadia de Santiago de Cristelo (Cristelo Covo, Valença).
Av: a small cross in the upper side of the folio with blue pen.
Bv: on the bottom part of the folio, upside down, a modern inscription in blue pen reads "Caixa 153 Nº11"
A central bifolio in good condition, with no content loss. It has been folded on the external and bottom margins, probably for its usage as a book cover. It also present holes on the recto right margin. It shows some spots mainly on the Ar page.
Partially notated fragment with a single column with 20-22 lines depending on the quantity of music in the page.
Central bifolio with no foliation/pagination.
