Condition of document:
Mutilated all around, causing absence of content on upper margin. Humidity, dirtiness and wear, especially on the recto side, where some text is hardly legible or completely illegible.
Decoration:
Capitals in red with filigree decorations on purple. Initials in brown, decorated in the same colour and with filigree decorations in sepia.
Inscriptions:
On the bottom margin of recto side, dates (1612-1621), on black ink, referring to the period of time comprised by the register book previously bound by this fragment. On the the upper half of the verso side, current shelf-mark (NOT/CNPRT01/001/0034) on right margin and alternative shelf-mark (K/7/5/1-2.13) on left margin, both in pencil.
Remarks:
Previously binding a register book from the Notary of Porto (1612-1621).
