Page layout:
Fol. A: 375 x 309 mm. Fol. B: 364 x 228 mm. Full page, 7 tetragrams per page, fol. A 258 x c. 185 mm, fol. B 263 x 196 mm.
Condition of document:
Central bifolium used as a book cover. Overall fair. Exposed side (Bv-Ar) in worse condition, but still quite readable with some faded ink and minor losses.
Decoration:
Initials and capitals written with the same sepia ink as the text, but with red and blue fillings. Noteworthy fillers where melismas provide some gap between one syllable and the next, running horizontally in various geometrical dispositions (best appreciated in fol. Av).
Inscriptions:
On the top margin of fol. Bv, call numbers: IV - 3ª S - Gv. 44 (8) // INV. BOL./96 (34)
Remarks:
Decoration and calligraphic text are those of a carefully crafted manuscript. Also remarkable is the indication of mode in roman numerals before 'amen' at the end of antiphons.
Description of the notation:
Red tetragram.
