Description of the notation
Aquitanian notation using a one-line staff coloured yellow.
Decoration
Red or blue flourished initials with decoration in blue, red, purple and green tints. Plain red or black initials also used.
Inscriptions
On the recto of the fragment are inscriptions added while in use as a book cover including date and notary name.

Condition of document
Single folio. Very marked wear on the recto side resulting from placement on the outside of the protocol book. Holes and loss of content from the centre of the fragment.

Two columns per page; 40 lines per page.

Remarks
This single folio fragment was used as the outer cover in the binding of a book of notary documents from early-seventeenth-century Toro. Damage has resulted from the folio's use as binding material.
