1st Vespers, Matins, Lauds, minor hours, 2nd Vespers and Alleluia for the Feast of the Visitation. Beginning on fol. 15r, hymns commemorating St. Bernard of Clairvaux: “Bernardus inclitus” (divided in two parts) for Matins and Lauds in the day of his feast, “Laudet celestia curia” for Compline, “Confessor almus claruit” for Terce in his Octave.

Square notation in (slightly faded) black ink over red 5-line staves.
Decoration
Decorated initial E on fol. 1 with red and brownish filigree, painted in dark green, light blue and gold. The folio is framed by phytomorphic elements (flowers and leaves). At the bottom, the coat of arms of abbess Dona Melícia de Melo is held by two angels.

Remarks
This is a supplement to the main antiphonary volumes used in the choir. The opening guard-leaf features a large inscription of ownership: Do Most[eir]o d' [A]r[ou]ca. Fol. 1 features the insignia of D. Melícia de Melo, abbess between 1511 and 1561. This choirbook has a pair, Res. Ms. 003, slightly more complete at the end.
