'Magnificas' inscribed on front cover. 'Magnificat / 8 Tonos', f. 1r. Names of Magnificat tones in Latin ('Primi toni. Magnificat A 4', etc) head each folio. Voice parts named in margins on each folio opening. Staves drawn in red ink. Bar-lines are lightly drawn inconsistently in the voice parts. Name of scribe and date on foot of f. 47r: 'Scripto mihi Francisco Gondiçalbo Rebelo 1696'
